Jesus Thou who lives in Heaven,
Come down to be man and die
In the Bible it could be found
How He went about doing good.
He went on errand doing good
He opened the eyes of the blind,
Many are the lame by the way.
He pitied them and restored them.
Beside all these He preached to them
Things that are delightful to God,
Above all He is meek and mild
He listened to all the children.
Yet he died a sorrowful death
He was crucified on the tree,
The blessed hand who redeemed us
They crucified Him on the tree.
He knew how wicked all men are;
How painful the price of sin is,
In His mercy our Saviour said
He will redeem the sins of men.
And for this sake he met his death,
‘Was made men to fulfil the pledge
Our holy Bible testifies,
He came from heaven to forgive.
O God Thou pardoned all sinners,
Those who repenteth all their sins
May we wake up and look to Thee
That we may have bounteous grace. Amen.
