  1. Be not fretful, my soul, rest in hope;
    Do not fear what tomorrow will bring,
    Rest, even death itself is the way;
    The King’s servant who was sent to you.

  2. Fret not, my soul, indeed Jesus died,
    But He has resurrected also,
    This is enough assurance for me
    Though I die, yet I live in Jesus.

  3. Rest, my soul, “It is finished”,
    Completed His work of salvation;
    Rest, everything has been accomplished;
    Once and for all, salvation is yours.

  4. Glory to resurrected Jesus!
    You were born and sacrificed for man:
    Glory to the Trinity ever!
    The Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amin.
