- Jesus, Thou that feedeth Thy flock
Like the kind and good shepherd
Who gives to them Thy tender care
And embraces the young ones.
- Receive these children, we pray Thee
Draw them to Thy dear embrace,
We have the blest assurance that
No evil can harm them there.
- There, they will never go astray,
The lion will not hunt them,
And let Thy compassionate love
Be their portion all their life.
- In Thy green pastures up on high
Let them find a place of rest;
Let them eat the green, tender grass
And drink waters of Thy love. Amen.
