Death hurries close near at hand,
Sinner, still in mockery yet
Death stares you full in the face
- Life is fleeting, when it ends
You will ne'er come back again
You go to eternity
Is it not meet that you think?
- God hears and He answers prayer,
Pray before your life is o'er
Wait not for His judgement throne
Till mercy's o'er; vengeance falls
- Prepare quickly death is near
If you linger, you'll perish
Wake up, arise and hurry
