- WHEN Moses, in the wilderness,
Lifted the serpent up,
Those the live-serpent bit were healed;
They tasted death no more.
- In the same way, from Lord Jesus
Doth healing total come.
Whosoever in faith looks on Him
Shall salvation receive.
- He has come to raise us all up
And to bequeath us life,
Let our faith make us draw near Him.
So that we doubt no more. Amen.
