Thou God of love, Spring of Mercy,
How great is thy goodness!
Various Seasons as they come
Do proclaim thy concern.
Soon as the farmer plants his seed
He puts it in the soil,
You do know when it germinates,
And You send down the rain.
Yours is the power the rain has,
That makes the plants to grow;
You send light that comes from the sun,
And the dew drops also.
Planting and harvesting seasons,
Are your free gift to us;
May we never forget to know
The source of all blessings.
Thou spring of love, Thou art our praise;
To Thee we raise our voice,
All creatures, in earnest, do join
In the sweet praise worship. Amen.
