Hymn 456

Jesus, Father of the Child

Jesu, Baba ọmọde

English Yorùbá
Meter 7.7.7.7 Baptismu Omode
  1. Jesus, Father of the Child,
    Thine commands all we obey;
    The child brought we unto Thee,
    Adopt and make him Thine own.

  2. In sin was he begotten,
    Cleanse him thoroughly from sin;
    By Thine blood he is redeemed,
    May he of Thine Gift partake. Amen.
