  1. This is Jehovah’s great command,
    And ever it shall be;
    Let sinners like you and like me,
    Be regenerated.

  2. Our paths, no doubt, shall be darken’d,
    If we are still in sin;
    His kingdom then we cannot see,
    If we ’re not born again.

  3. If we are baptized many time
    Vanity shall they be
    It cannot wash away our sins
    If we ‘re not born again.

  4. All the evil works that we do,
    Without the help of God;
    They cannot renew all our hearts,
    If we ‘re not born again.

  5. Depart from thy daily sins now
    Cut satan’s chain away;
    Believe the Lord with all thy hearts
    Thou shalt be born again. Amen.
