“Who would help raise fallen Jacob?”
“Tani o gbe Jakọb dide?”
- “Who would help raise fallen Jacob?”
Jacob’s friends are too few,
The most surprising is this fact
They are disunited. - “Who would help raise fallen Jacob?”
His enemies proved tough,
I could now read victorious bliss
They thought that was his end. - “Who would help raise fallen Jacob?”
And make this pronouncement,
A branch that’s hewn and still lies down
Can still resuscitate. - My God, my Lord it is Thy work,
There’s no one beside Thee
Shower blessings on fallen Jacob.
And Jacob shall arise. Amen.
