Hymn 410
You children of the dead
Ẹnyin ọmọ okú
- You children of the dead,
Who remain in sin still;
Hear you the Gospel call,
Jesus has sent to you;
You miserable rejects come now;
In Jesus’ arms there’s always room. - Do not delay too long,
Eschew all excuses;
He calls you to come now,
Though you are miserable,
You sinner, all things are ready;
There’s room in His arms for all souls. - Believe the divine word.
Which His servant proclaims;
The Lord is merciful
Indeed His name is Truth:
Come back you souls that are fallen,
Stops distrusting, there’s always room. - You who the Lord’s love draws,
Unto Him draw you near;
Christ from above calls you,
Hear His sweet loving voice;
Let whoever is willing come,
In Mercy’s bosom there is room. Amen.
