  1. He that sitteth at the right hand
    Of the Father in heaven,
    The same One is pleading for us
    So that we may all be saved.

  2. He’s pleading for our deliverance
    From sin and from the anger and
    The judgment that is to come.

  3. He pleads that we may inherit
    The divine inheritance;
    Who is able to describe
    The glory and the honour.

  4. He alone is the Advocate
    For his own special people;
    No other person’s blood can pay
    The debt we all have incurred.

  5. You alone are the Father’s Son
    The only King for ever;
    Human beings are great sinners;
    Angels are Your messengers.

  6. And thou art the most righteous One
    Perfect before Thy Father;
    So also in your holy name
    Promises shall be fulfilled. Amen.
