    Illuminating our paths;
    Oh divine peace us He granted,
    Of divine love is our God.

  2. Death is virulently hostile,
    Men abound in decadence;
    His mercy ever endureth,
    Of divine love is our God.

  3. When the darkness overwhelmed us,
    His charity we receive;
    And His Light He beamed upon us,
    Of divine love is our God.

  4. Oh what a great hope and comfort
    He attached to sacred lusts;
    His glory shinning all around,
